Dave Adams
Managing Partner
Dave Adams has more than 30 years of experience in investment management. Currently, he serves as the managing partner of Mint12, a specialized alternative investment management company. Under his guidance, Mint12 oversees the management of two real estate lending funds and two real estate equity funds.
Before establishing Mint12, Dave held the position of Managing Partner and Founder at Fluid Capital Management (FCM), a company he established in 2010. At FCM, he successfully managed various alternative investment portfolios. Before his tenure at FCM, Dave worked as an interest rate derivatives trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) from 1991 to 2010. During these 20 years, he efficiently managed substantial proprietary and investor capital. Dave initiated his career in 1987 at Deloitte Haskins & Sells. In 1987, he graduated Cum Laude from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
Dave resides with his wife and four children in Boca Raton, FL. He actively supports the sport of lacrosse and its community. His three sons have competed as student-athletes at the collegiate level.
Alex Greyserman
Investment Partner
Alex has been an investment partner in numerous projects with David Adams for over 20 years.
Alex has over 30 years of experience in the alternative investment industry. He co-founded several funds, most recently a quantitative hedge fund that managed over seven billion dollars in institutional assets. Alex has held the positions of Chief Portfolio Strategist, Chief Scientist, and Chief Investment Officer for several prominent investment firms.
Alex holds a BA in Mathematics, MBA, and a Ph.D. in Statistics from Rutgers University and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
From 2001 to 2022, Alex was an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at Columbia University, teaching various courses and seminars in the field of quantitative investment management. Alex is currently an Adjunct professor in the graduate finance department at Florida Atlantic University.
Alex resides with his wife and four children in Florida. He is an active golf parent and data analyst, with his three sons currently playing at a competitive professional and amateur level.
Marty Caparros

Marty Caparros is the Chief Executive Officer of The Prestige & Pacifica Companies. Under Mr. Caparros’ leadership, The Prestige & Pacifica Companies have become among the premier developers of exceptional residential communities, commercial properties, and industrial properties in Florida.
Mr. Caparros successfully completed the construction and sale of over two thousand homes over the past 30 years. Mr. Caparros successfully steered the company through challenging market conditions and emerged with a reputation, both at the company and personal level, that is second to none.
The Prestige and Pacifica Companies have developed or converted over 15,000 units, 200,000 sq. ft. of commercial properties, and over 1,000 acres of land. The Prestige Companies and Pacifica Companies are also among the largest privately held rental companies in South Florida, with over 400 million dollars in value.
Since 2012, Mr. Caparros has been on the Advisory Board of Black River Partners, LLC, a diversified real estate investment fund with over 150 million dollars in transactions.
Under Mr. Caparros’ leadership, Prestige has partnered on projects with notable developers and investors such as Roberto Cayon and Cayon Development, Jose Boschetti and BF Group, Art Falcone and the Falcon Companies, Sergio Pino and Century Homebuilders, David Adams, Alex Greyserman and Black River Partners and many others.
Mr. Caparros is a University of Miami graduate and an active civic leader in his community. Among his public works, Mr. Caparros created the Prestige Scholarship at St. Thomas University for underprivileged youth from the City of Hialeah. He is a recipient of the Century Award from Baptist Health Foundation. He has also been recognized and awarded by Hispanic Business, South Florida Business Journal, The Miami Herald, and other organizations.
Alexander Ruiz

Chief Operations Officer for The Prestige and Pacifica Companies
Alexander Ruiz is the Chief Operations Officer for The Prestige and Pacifica Companies. He has been a key driver behind their success and continued growth, significantly impacting their affiliates, including Black River Partners and Prestige Florida Fund Partners, where he serves as a manager.
Prior to becoming COO, Mr. Ruiz held the position of Director of Finance at Prestige, during which he successfully coordinated the financing of over two billion dollars in diverse real estate acquisitions. He also facilitated equity and institutional mezzanine capital transactions totaling over 500 million dollars. His role extended to maintaining relationships with institutional and local lenders as well as agencies like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as well as orchestrating the creation of numerous community development districts and issuing public bond offerings.
Additionally, Mr. Ruiz has provided oversight for The Prestige & Pacifica Companies affiliates, including Pacifica Homes and EZ 2 Own Realty. Under his leadership, these became some of the leading single-family residential distressed acquisition and resale companies in Florida, boasting total sales of over 150 million dollars. The Prestige Companies has held a prominent position as one of the largest privately held multi-family development companies in Florida, with over 2,500 units completed or under construction since 2014.
Since 2012, Mr. Ruiz has been a manager and an advisory board member with Black River Partners , a diversified real estate investment fund that has completed over 150 million dollars in transactions.
Mr. Ruiz holds an MBA and a graduate degree certificate in Finance and International Business from the University of Miami. He is a magna cum laude graduate from Florida International University with a B.A. in Political Science. He is a member of the Founders Club of the Baptist Health Foundation and was recognized by the SFBJ in 2023 as a recipient of the 40 under 40 award. He has also served on numerous non-profit and governmental boards, such as Kristi House and the City of Hialeah Personnel Board.
Michael Foelster
Legal Counsel
Michael S. Foelster represents clients in loan transactions, commercial and residential real estate transactions, and related real estate contracts.
Mr. Foelster represents financial institutions and private clients in secured transactions collateralized by commercial real estate, condominium and hotel buildings, domestic and foreign inventory, domestic and foreign accounts receivable, lien rights, residential real estate, and vessels.
Mr. Foelster was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2006. He graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2006 after receiving a Dean’s Merit Scholarship and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003.
